This resort is located on the water’s edge and is a mile away from Uturoa. It provides a wonderful gateway to discover Raiatea, the "Sacred Island" known as the birthplace of the Polynesian gods. Traditional bungalows set in gardens, on the beach or overwater welcome guests to this spot. The garden bungalows offer a lounge area, while the overwater bungalows have a veranda overlooking the lagoon. The hotel also has a restaurant, reputed to be the best on the island, and bar that overlooks the lagoon and swimming pool. Day trips to Taha’a, snorkeling, canoeing and scuba diving are among the many activities that are available to you. For nature lovers, we suggest a morning hike up Mt. Temehani, the only place on earth where the beautiful Tiare Apetahi grows. In addition to the spectacular coral dropoffs and abundant underwater plant and animal life, there are several wrecks to visit, such as the Nordby, a 57 ton schooner, which sank in 1900. This sunken schooner can be found directly in front of the Raiatea Pearl Resort and is accessible from its boat docks.
