This
newly opened resort is situated on 21 acres of white
sand beachfront. It is a short drive from the airport
and boat landing, and just two miles from the famous
and enchanting Cook's Bay. This is a traditional Polynesian-style
hotel, with overwater, beach and garden bungalows in
addition to garden rooms and suites. The overwater bungalows
have a large sundeck and sitting area, with direct access
to the water, and glass tables for watching the fascinating
sea life below. The hotel offers a wide range of activities
and excursions. Among them are shark feedings, Dolphin
Watch, scuba diving, lagoon and sunset cruises, glass
bottom board tour, parasailing, 4-wheel drive safari,
and visits to the Tiki Village and botanical garden.
"The
snorkeling right alongside the Moorea Pearl Resort is
awesome. The coral reef drops off into deeper water
right underneath some of the overwater bungalows and
there are huge numbers of fish there."
